La fonction sujet entre prédication syntaxique et prédication sémantique : étude comparée français arabe : The subject function between syntactic predication and semantic predication : a comparative study on French and Arabi

La présente thèse située dans le domaine de la linguistique contrastive a pour objectif d’étudier la fonction de sujet en français et en arabe du point de vue de la théorie des trois fonctions primaires. Dans un premier temps, il est nécessaire de relever les procédés linguistiques du français et de l’arabe puis de les analyser pour comprendre leur fonctionnement respectif. Il s’agit ensuite d’expliquer les emplois prédicatifs (verbaux, nominaux adjectivaux) dans le cadre d’une grammaire appropriée pour chaque langue en prenant en compte la notion de base de cette étude. En dernier, cette analyse met en lumière le fonctionnement du sujet syntaxique et du sujet sémantique, ses différentes formes et sa position par rapport au verbe : pour ce faire, nous nous sommes appuyés sur la théorie des Trois Fonctions Primaires. Afin de bien creuser dans la question et de répondre aux hypothèses de recherche, un corpus parallèle est collecté. Par conséquent, ce travail consiste en trois étapes : la première explique la notion sujet, ses appellations, et ses valeurs sémantiques ; la deuxième est une analyse comparée de la fonction sujet en français et en arabe ; enfin, la troisième synthétise les similitudes et les différences entre les deux langues The purpose of this thesis in the field of contrastive linguistics is to study the subject function in French and Arabic from the point of view of the theory of the three primary functions. Initially, it is necessary to identify the linguistic processes in French and Arabic, and then to analyse them in order to understand how they function respectively. It is then a question of explaining predicative uses (verbal, nominal, adjectives) within the framework of an appropriate grammar for each language, taking into account the basic notion of this study. Finally, this analysis sheds light on the functioning of the syntactic subject and semantic subject, its different forms and its position in relation to the verb: to do this, we have referred to the theory of the Three Primary Functions. In order to examine the question in greater depth and respond to the research hypotheses, a parallel corpus is being collected. Consequently, this work consists of three stages: the first explains the notion of subject, its designations, and its semantic values ; the second is a comparative analysis of the subject function in French and Arabic; finally, the third summarises the similarities and differences between the two languages
